MSE has partnered with PIVTEC to bring you miniPIV, a compact, easy-to-use, eye-safe PIV system. This novel system uses a high intensity LED light source which is compact, air-cooled, self-contained, and much safer than comparable laser solutions. The Gig-E or FireWire camera minimizes computer hardware requirements. Image processing is provided by PIVview which includes features useful for education—such as interactive cross-correlation and results visualization—as well as features for the power user—speed-optimized, multi-processor algorithms, sophisticated correlation methods, and batch processing. The system is modular and can easily be customized to stereo configurations as well as for high-speed applications.

MiniPIV is a great complement to a miniLDV System and a flowLab facility. And if you already have all the necessary hardware, you'll be glad to know that MSE is now the exclusive distributor of the PIVview software package in North America.
